More than 30 rooms, no two alike, in a turn-of-the-century villa a hundred metres from the Oktoberfest grounds.
Six categories, one principle: no two rooms alike.

Compact in footprint, generous in spirit: queen-size bed or two separate beds, bold colours — and themed rooms such as Surfer, New York or Safari.

More space, more history: period charm with highlights like the Wolke and Palme rooms — with a balcony above the Theresienwiese, if you like.

The stages of the house: velvet, gold and a beer bar — plus the new air-conditioned Studio Suites at the very top, some with roof terraces.
“Every room becomes a favourite place, and no two are alike.”
From Manhattan to Kyoto: wander the rooms without leaving your chair.

Several rooms were created with students of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, as free spaces for looking, resting and thinking. Here, art does not just hang on the wall. It is the room.

Weekdays from 7, weekends from 8: fresh Brezn, egg dishes and proper coffee before Munich gets loud.
The Oktoberfest grounds start a hundred metres from the door: the Wiesn in autumn, Munich's biggest open space with a view of the Bavaria statue the rest of the year.
Marshall on, city off. Your original can be a gallery, an office or a cocoon, whatever you need it to be.
The Schwanthalerhöhe is one of Munich's most charming quarters: cafés, corner pubs, beer gardens. The front desk happily shares its favourite addresses.
One last drink at the bar, soft music, softer pillows. Munich will still be there tomorrow.
Small retreats, as individually designed as the rooms themselves.
More on breakfast & bar
In the evening, everyone gathers under the “Paradise” sign: honest drinks, cognac leather, low light and conversations that run longer than planned.

People have slept well behind this facade for more than a century. In the evening the windows glow above the Theresienhöhe; in the morning, breakfast waits in the Breakfast Club — weekdays 7 to 10, weekends 8 to 11 am.
The small print, printed large for once.
Theresienhöhe 8, right above the Oktoberfest grounds in Munich's Westend. In the middle of it all, yet quiet: the city starts at the door, not in your room.
Yes. For €15 a day we reserve a space for you in the public car park right next door. Spaces at the hotel rate are limited, so it is best to book one with your room.
Monday to Friday from 7 to 10 am, weekends and holidays from 8 to 11 am — with fresh Brezn, egg dishes, proper coffee and everything that belongs on the table. A Petit Déjeuner covers smaller appetites; breakfast to go covers early starts.
Take the U4/U5 to Theresienwiese (500 m on foot) or the S-Bahn to Hackerbrücke (900 m). On foot it is about 1.5 km and makes a lovely opening stroll.
As early as you can. We are a hundred metres from the festival grounds, and during Oktoberfest (19 September to 4 October 2026) our rooms tend to sell out many months in advance.
Because booking with us directly guarantees the best price. No detours, and your wishes land straight with the people who make them happen.
The Krone has siblings, just as individual and just as Munich.
