Tailor-made and individual, yours for a night or a week. Go on, pick a favourite.
Individual floor plans, individual designs, and a Marshall in every room.
Every one of our rooms was imagined and furnished on its own terms, some bold, some quiet, all with a love of detail. What they share: a good bed, a bath or shower, free Wi-Fi and the ambition to be a perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Six categories set the direction — from Trendy Double to Studio Suite. Which room it ends up being? The heart tends to decide, by the second visit at the latest.
…and more than twenty other keys wait at the front desk.
So you know exactly what you are booking — every category at a glance.
Our Trendy Double rooms at Hotel Krone feature comfortable queen-size double beds for restful nights in Munich. The 15 sqm rooms are individually designed and come with a 42-inch flat screen, safe, spacious wardrobe and hairdryer. Enjoy the quiet despite the central location and sleep in unique themed rooms such as Surfer, New York or Rock.
With two separate beds, our Trendy Twin rooms offer a stay as individual as our guests. Whether in the Safari or the Camouflage room — each tells its own story and radiates a charm of its own. The rooms come with a spacious wardrobe for your luggage and a safe for your valuables. Despite the central location right by the Theresienwiese, they are quiet and guarantee a restful night.
The Charming Comfort rooms at Hotel Krone offer comfort with charm in Munich's stylish Westend, right by the Theresienwiese. Highlights include the Wolke room with its quiet position and heavenly realm of clouds across the ceiling, the Palme room with a view of the Theresienwiese and cosy armchairs, and the Asian Room — striking with its dark floor, grey walls and red accents that lend a Far Eastern flair.
The Charming Comfort Balcony rooms offer comfort with charm and a magnificent view from the balcony across the Theresienwiese. These bright rooms with comfortable double beds make your stay in Munich a dream. Despite the central location, the rooms guarantee a restful night. All of them feature a balcony where the evening can end with a glass of champagne or wine.
Each of our Showrooms is unique, sophisticated and elegant. The Paulaner Showroom, for example, offers a well-stocked beer bar and light-flooded rooms with a comfortable couch and stylish desk; its bay window brings light and warmth and a wonderful view across the Theresienwiese. The Schwanen Showroom is dedicated to the favourite animal of King Ludwig II, defined by a grand painting of the swan and majestic golden furniture. All our Showrooms captivate with understated elegance — spacious, stylish and invitingly homely.
Our new, elegant Studio Suites are the highlight of Boutique Hotel Krone. All suites sit on the top floor, come with air conditioning and offer breathtaking views across Munich's rooftops. Some feature roof terraces — a quiet oasis in the middle of the city, ideal for relaxing and a perfect base for exploring Munich. Each suite also offers ideal working conditions with a high-quality desk and refined lighting.
Good to know: not every suite has its own roof terrace — bookable as Studio Suite or Studio Suite with Balcony.
Compact in cut, generous in spirit — as a Double with queen-size bed or a Twin with two separate beds.

Created with students of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, etchings hang frame to frame here, from headboard to ceiling. Wake up in the Galerie and you wake up inside an exhibition. And, quite unlike a museum, you are allowed to roll over and sleep on.
Dark floors, grey walls and red at every volume: in the Shanghai, pop art meets the 1890s and the two get along famously. A room with a wink, and with a surprising number of loving details you only discover on the second evening.

More space, more history. Period charm — with a balcony above the Theresienwiese, if you like.

Right at the top, where the townhouse keeps its slanted ceilings, the exposed beams of 1900 stretch above the bed. By day the light falls in at an angle; by night nothing creaks anymore. Only the wood still whispers of a hundred Munich years.
In the Kyoto, the bathroom plays the lead: a hand-painted geisha watches over the tub, the light is warm and so are the towels. Nobody bathes alone here, and dinner tends to be missed by a comfortable margin.

The stages of the house — and at the very top, above Munich's rooftops: the new Studio Suites.

Dedicated to Ludwig II's favourite creature: a grand swan painting, gilded furniture with posture, and velvet wherever you choose to sit. Like all our Showrooms, it captivates with understated elegance — spacious, stylish and invitingly homely.
The bay window gathers the evening light like a bowl. Add light-flooded rooms, a comfortable couch, a stylish desk and a well-stocked beer bar. At golden hour it may be Munich's finest desk; afterwards, simply its finest way to end the day.

There is still the Wolke with its painted sky above the courtyard. The Palme with its window seat and Wiesn view. And the balcony rooms, where a glass of wine keeps the evening view company.
What holds true everywhere, whichever character you choose.
